The reason why I have such a huge Mariah Carey CD collection is mainly because Mariah always does great remixes to her songs.

CD1 mainly features the clubmixes of Mariah's biggest hits. David Morales has won awards for the remixes of Dreamlover. My fav on the first CD has to be the remix of Anytime You Need A Friend which I almost heard to def in 1994.

The absolute favourite remixes are featured on CD 2. Since the classic Fantasy with ODB was released I was into Mariah's R&B remixes. Always Be My Baby with Da Brat and Xscape put the Daydream classic to a whole new level which lead to my favourite album Butterfly. When I heard My All/Stay Awhile for the first time it just blow me away. The BEST REMIX EVER! I think I listened to it a million times. The rap of Nas on Thank God I Found You is one of my favourite raps ever! Glad to see Loverboy with Ludacris on the CD. He's just the coolest! With Miss You feat. Jadakiss of the Lox is also a hot non-released song (at least in Germany) on the album.

With The One (So So Def Remix feat. Bone Crusher) there's even an never before released track on the album.

Sadly I miss three of my favs. The remix that started my collection - the extended version by David Cole & Robert Clivillès of Make It Happen. Secondly the Damizza remix of I Still Believe/Pure Imagination feat. Krayzie Bone and one of favourite songs ever - The Roof feat. Mobb Deep.

Einer der Hauptgründe für meine riesige Mariah Carey CD Sammlung ist sicher dass Mariah schon immer fantastische Remixe Ihrer Hits anfertigte. Nicht nur dass Mariah die angesagtestesten DJ und Remixer angagierte, Mariah hat aktiv mitgewirkt und viele Songs komplett neu eingesungen.

Auf CD1 beinhaltet hauptsächlich die Clubmixe von Mariah's grossen Hits. David Morales hat für Dreamlover sogar ein paar Preise gewonnen. Mein Liebling auf CD1 ist der Remix von Anytime You Need A Friend den ich 1994 schon fast bis zur Taubheit gehört habe.

Der eigentliche Knaller ist CD 2 des Doppelalbums. Ich war schon immer von Mariah's R&B Remixen begeistert. Schade dass Sony so spät diese zum größten Teil in Deutschland unbekannten Perlen veröffentlicht. Fantasy mit ODB ist schlichtweg ein Klassiker. Always Be My Baby mit Da Brat & Xscape setzte für mich schon das erste Zeichen für mein Lieblingsalbum Butterfly. My All/Stay Awhile hat mich schon beim ersten hören umgehauen und ist seit dem meine absoluter Lieblingsremix EVER. Der Rap von Nas auf Thank God I Found You ist meine Lieblingsrapeinlage. Schön dass auch Loverboy mit Ludacris auf das Album kam. Mit Miss You featuring Jadakass von the Lox ist auch noch ein heisser noch nicht veröffentlichter Song auf dem Album.

Leider fehlen mir noch drei meiner Lieblingsmixe. Der Remix der für mich alles startete - die extended Version von David Cole & Robert Clivillès von Make It Happen. Zum zweiten I Still Believe/Pure Imagination von Damizza mit Krayzie Bone und einer meiner absoluten Lieblingssongs The Roof mit Mobb Deep.
